2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Create and maintain your account;
- Process transactions, escrow, and payouts;
- Route payments through the appropriate local payment method based on your location;
- Facilitate communication between buyers, sellers, and support;
- Investigate and resolve disputes;
- Send transactional emails (order confirmations, verification, messages);
- Improve and maintain the security of the platform.
3. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Flutterwave, a third-party payment processor. Core Insight Market does not store complete card numbers. Bank payout details you provide as a seller are transmitted to Flutterwave to enable payouts and are handled according to Flutterwave's own security and privacy practices in addition to ours.
4. Location Data
When you make or receive a payment, we use your IP address to estimate your general location. This is used solely to determine the correct currency and locally-available payment methods (for example, offering bank transfer and mobile money options for users in supported regions) — it is not used for tracking, advertising, or shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to complete the payment.
5. Messages & Disputes
Messages, quotes, and negotiation history between users are stored so that both parties have a record of what was agreed. If a dispute is opened on an order, the related conversation and quote history may be reviewed by our team as part of resolving that dispute.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With our payment processor (Flutterwave), to the extent necessary to process payments and payouts;
- With the other party to a transaction, to the extent necessary to fulfill an order (e.g., a seller receiving a buyer's delivery address);
- Where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted password storage and secure transmission of financial data to our payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention
We retain account and transaction information for as long as your account is active, and for a period afterward as necessary to resolve disputes, comply with legal or tax obligations, and maintain accurate financial records. You may request deletion of your account as described in Section 9.
9. Your Rights
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Note that some information (such as records of completed transactions) may need to be retained for legal or accounting purposes even after account deletion. You may opt out of non-essential email communications at any time.
10. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in and to remember basic preferences. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but some features of the platform may not function correctly without them.
11. Children's Privacy
Core Insight Market is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under this age. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
