1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Core Insight in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and use Core Insight. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Accounts
Core Insight uses a single account model — there is no separate "buyer" or "seller" account type. Every account can browse and purchase immediately, and can begin offering services, courses, products, or articles at any time without a separate application or approval step.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
4. Platform Fees
Core Insight charges a flat 10% platform fee on completed sales made through services, courses, and products. This fee is deducted automatically at the time of transaction. There is no cost to create a listing, publish a course, or post an article.
There are no subscription plans, tiered pricing, or recurring fees of any kind.
5. Listings & Content
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of listings, descriptions, pricing, and any content you publish (including articles, service descriptions, course materials, and product listings). Listings must not be misleading, and physical product conditions must be accurately described.
You retain ownership of content you create and publish, but grant Core Insight a license to display, distribute, and promote that content within the platform for the purpose of operating the marketplace.
6. Payments & Escrow
Payments for services and physical products are held in escrow — meaning funds are not released to the seller until the buyer confirms satisfactory delivery, or an applicable protection window has passed without a dispute being raised.
For custom or negotiated work, both parties must explicitly agree to a final price via the platform's quote system before any payment is collected. A quote is binding once accepted by the receiving party.
Payments are processed through Flutterwave, a third-party payment processor. Core Insight does not store full card or bank credentials directly; payment data is handled according to Flutterwave's own security standards.
7. Pay on Delivery
For eligible physical goods, sellers may offer Pay on Delivery. To accept a Pay on Delivery order, a seller must have the applicable platform fee available in their Core Insight wallet at the time of acceptance — this requirement applies equally to all sellers regardless of sales history or standing.
Sellers who repeatedly fail to fulfill accepted Pay on Delivery orders may have this feature restricted or removed.
8. Disputes & Resolution
If a buyer or seller believes an order was not fulfilled as agreed, either party may open a dispute before funds are released from escrow. Once a dispute is opened, the related funds are frozen pending review.
Core Insight reviews disputed orders and makes a final determination on whether funds are released to the seller or refunded to the buyer. Response windows apply at various stages of an order (for example, sellers generally have 24 hours to accept a new order, and 4 hours to respond to a client's decision on a mid-job change order); failure to respond within these windows may result in automatic cancellation or resolution in the other party's favor.
Core Insight's decision on a dispute is final. We encourage both parties to communicate clearly and keep records (messages, quotes, photos) that support their position, as this information may be reviewed during a dispute.
9. Seller Verification & Payouts
To receive payouts, sellers must link a valid bank account or payout method and may be required to complete identity verification. Listings that are published without a linked payout method will not generate earnings until this is completed.
Payout and banking information you provide is transmitted securely to our payment processor and is used solely to facilitate payment to you.
10. In-Person Services
Some services listed on Core Insight involve a provider traveling to, or a client visiting, a physical location. Core Insight is a platform that connects clients and independent service providers — we are not a party to the underlying service agreement and do not employ, supervise, or guarantee the conduct of any provider.
Arrival verification codes and other in-app safety features are provided as tools to help confirm that a scheduled visit has taken place; they are not a guarantee of safety, and users should exercise the same judgment and caution they would when engaging any independent contractor. Core Insight strongly encourages meeting in appropriate settings and verifying provider credentials where relevant.
11. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Core Insight to:
- List or sell illegal goods or services, or goods obtained illegally;
- Engage in fraud, including misrepresenting a listing, identity, or qualifications;
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others;
- Circumvent the platform's payment or escrow system (e.g., soliciting off-platform payment to avoid fees or buyer protection);
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users;
- Attempt to manipulate ratings, reviews, or the seller ranking system.
12. Intellectual Property
The Core Insight Market name, logo, and platform design are the property of Core Insight. You may not use them without written permission. Content you upload remains yours, subject to the license described in Section 5.
13. Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including for repeated disputes found in a user's disfavor, fraudulent activity, or failure to fulfill accepted orders. Funds already legitimately earned and released prior to suspension are not affected.
14. Limitation of Liability
Core Insight provides the platform "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Core Insight is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, transactions between users, or the conduct of any user, including in the context of in-person services.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Core Insight is registered to operate, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. [To be finalized with your legal counsel based on your actual registered jurisdiction.]
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
